The 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X runs at 120Hz with a sharp 1440 x 3120 QHD+ resolution and measured 1,452 nits of maximum brightness in GSMArena's lab test, with the 2,600-nit peak reserved for HDR content.
The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front is a tier below the newest flagship glass, but the QHD+ panel remains among the sharper screens at any price.
The triple camera pairs a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide, with a 12MP selfie camera and 8K video. This is a genuine flagship camera set, telephoto included.
The 10MP telephoto resolution is modest next to the periscopes on Ultra models, so long-range detail is the clearest limit.
The 4,900mAh battery returned an active use score of 12:30 hours in GSMArena's lab, with 45W wired charging quoted at 65% in 30 minutes, plus 15W wireless and reverse wireless.
45W is conservative against the 80W-plus systems on rivals, so charging speed is not this phone's strength.
At 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7mm and around 196g with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both faces, an Armor aluminium 2 frame and IP68 sealing, the S24+ is built to full flagship standard, in a wide range of colours including Cobalt Violet and Jade Green.
The 75.9mm width makes one-handed use a stretch, the trade-off for the large, sharp screen.
The chipset depends on region: US, Canadian and Chinese units use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while UK units and most other markets get the Exynos 2400. Both pair with 12GB of RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, launched on Android 14 and since updated, with the seven-upgrade commitment still leaving years of support.
UK buyers cannot choose the Snapdragon version, so US-unit reviews may not fully reflect the phone sold here, and the Exynos can run warmer under load.
Buy the Galaxy S24+ at a discount if you want a big, sharp flagship screen with a full camera set and years of remaining updates, without paying current-flagship money.
