It keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 5200mAh battery, but sticks to 4G rather than 5G and an HD+ screen.
TCL K70: Display
The 6.75-inch IPS LCD runs at 120Hz for smoother scrolling than most phones at this level and reaches up to 750 nits, which should be enough for indoor use and shaded outdoor use.
The resolution is only 720 x 1570, around 256 pixels per inch, so text and images look noticeably softer than the 1080 x 2400 screen on the Motorola Moto G35 at a similar price.
TCL K70: Camera
The rear camera is led by a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with autofocus, paired with a basic macro unit, and there is an 8MP front camera. In good light the main sensor should cover everyday snaps and the occasional close-up.

4GB of RAM is tight for heavy multitasking, so expect apps to reload in the background, and the USB-C port runs at the older 2.0 speed, which makes wired file transfers slow.
