Which network does Mozillion use?

Mozillion runs on EE's network as a virtual operator. This makes it the only provider on Mobile Phone Finder offering EE coverage, since EE does not supply its own deals to comparison sites.

If EE performs better than O2, Vodafone or Three at your address, Mozillion is the route to that coverage within the deals we list. That is worth knowing before filtering on price alone, because coverage at your specific address usually matters more than the difference of a few pounds a month between networks. Every other provider we cover runs on O2, Vodafone or Three: see all networks for the full breakdown.

Mozillion states that its plans carry uncapped 5G speeds, which it presents as a point of difference from speed tiers applied on some plans sold directly. Confirm this against the specific plan you are considering.

Price rises on Mozillion

Mozillion states that its pricing is fixed for the contract term with no mid-contract price rises, and presents this as applying across its plans rather than as a time-limited promotion.

Because this is a company statement rather than a regulated guarantee, confirm the terms attached to the specific deal at the point of sale. If it holds for the deal you are comparing, it removes the annual April increase that applies on EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, which is frequently worth more across a long contract than the difference between two headline monthly prices.

Our guide to mid-contract price rises compares what every network we list adds to your bill each April.

Roaming with Mozillion

Mozillion includes roaming across 41 European destinations on its plans, with calls, texts and data from your UK allowance. That is a stronger position than the networks that reintroduced European charges, and comparable to the better MVNO offerings.

Mozillion also sells separate travel eSIMs covering a much wider list of destinations for travel outside the included European list. Those are a separate purchase rather than part of the plan, so price them separately if you travel outside Europe regularly.

New and refurbished handsets

Mozillion sells both new handsets with full manufacturer warranty and certified refurbished handsets, and also operates a marketplace for buying and selling used phones. Refurbished stock is graded by cosmetic condition and Mozillion states that devices pass a multi-point inspection before sale, with a warranty applied.

Refurbished handsets are the main reason a Mozillion deal can cost less than an equivalent contract on a new device, and the size of that difference varies by model and condition grade. When comparing, check which grade a listing refers to and what warranty applies, because the grade affects both the price and what you should expect from the device. Battery condition is the specification that most affects how a refurbished phone performs day to day, and our guide to phone battery health explains what to expect from a battery that is already partway through its life.

Contract lengths and credit checks

Mozillion offers SIM plans across rolling and fixed terms, and does not require a credit check on those plans. The handset deals currently listed on this page run for 24 months, with handset finance assessed separately.

Because Mozillion sells handsets outright as well as on contract, comparing the total of a handset purchase plus a rolling plan against a fixed contract is often worthwhile here. You can also compare SIM-free phones to see how buying the handset separately compares.

Most current handsets support eSIM as well as a physical SIM card. Our guide to eSIMs explained covers how eSIM works, which phones support it, and what to check before ordering.

What to compare on Mozillion

Start with coverage rather than price. Mozillion is the only way to get EE coverage among the deals we list, so if EE is the strongest network at your address that is the deciding factor before any price comparison.

After that, three checks matter. Confirm the fixed pricing position for the specific deal, since it removes the annual increase that applies elsewhere. Check whether the handset is new or refurbished, and which grade, because that drives most of the price difference. Confirm the roaming list covers where you travel, since 41 European destinations is generous but does not extend worldwide without a separate eSIM purchase.

If EE coverage is not important to you, compare the total against Talkmobile and Tesco Mobile, which take similar positions on price stability and roaming on different networks.

If you are moving from another provider and want to keep your existing number, our guide on how to keep your number when switching explains the PAC code process and the timings involved. If you are still deciding how much data to pay for, our guide to what is a good data allowance covers what different types of use actually consume.

Mozillion frequently asked questions

Which network does Mozillion use?

Mozillion runs on EE's network as a virtual operator. It is the only provider listed on Mobile Phone Finder offering EE coverage, since EE does not supply its own deals to comparison sites.

Does Mozillion have mid-contract price rises?

Mozillion states that its pricing is fixed for the contract term with no mid-contract price rises. This is a company statement rather than a regulated guarantee, so confirm the terms attached to the specific deal before signing.

Are Mozillion refurbished phones reliable?

Mozillion states that certified refurbished handsets pass a multi-point inspection before sale and are supplied with a warranty, and stock is graded by cosmetic condition. Check which grade a listing refers to and what warranty period applies, since both vary and both affect what you are paying for.

How many countries does Mozillion roaming cover?

No credit check applies to Mozillion SIM plans. A handset bought on a finance arrangement is assessed separately from the plan.

Sources and methodology

To compile this page we reviewed Mozillion's published plan terms, roaming conditions and refurbished handset grading in August 2026, alongside our daily deal feed. Mozillion is the only provider listed on this site that runs on EE's network, so the coverage section on this page explains what that means when comparing against the other networks we cover. Coverage and network quality statements are attributed to their source and have not been independently measured by us.

Deal prices on this page are drawn from our daily feed of retailer and network pricing. Network policy statements on this page were checked against the following sources in August 2026.

  • Mozillion plan and handset information, for EE network use, fixed pricing, uncapped 5G, the 41 destination roaming list and the credit check position
  • Mozillion published refurbished handset grading and warranty terms, for condition grades, inspection and warranty periods
  • Independent consumer reporting on Mozillion contract terms and network arrangement
  • Mobile Phone Finder daily deal feed, for handset availability, pricing and contract lengths

Network terms, tariffs and roaming conditions change regularly. Confirm current conditions directly with Mozillion before purchasing.
