The 6.3-inch OLED runs at 120Hz with a 1080 x 2424 resolution, and GSMArena measured an excellent 2,232 nits of maximum brightness in its lab test, well ahead of most rivals at the price. The 2,700-nit figure is a peak HDR rating.
The panel is a step below the Pro models' sharper LTPO screens, and the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front carries a Mohs level 4 hardness rating.
The dual camera pairs a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 48MP ultrawide, backed by Google's class-leading image processing, with a 10.5MP selfie camera and 4K video at up to 60fps.
There is no telephoto lens, so zoomed shots rely on the main sensor, the clearest gap against the Pro models.
The 4,700mAh battery returned an active use score of 13:05 hours in GSMArena's lab, with 27W wired and 15W wireless charging.

The Tensor G4 with 12GB of RAM powers Google's on-device AI features, and the phone carries a commitment to up to seven major Android upgrades, now running Android 16 with years of support left.
The Tensor G4 trails the fastest chips on benchmarks and can run warm under load, and storage is older UFS 3.1, so raw speed is not this phone's strength.
Buy the Pixel 9 if you want Google's cameras and software in a compact flagship at a lower price, and you do not need a telephoto lens.
