The Google Pixel 11 Pro is Google's compact flagship, built for buyers who want the full Pro camera system without moving up to a larger body. It keeps the 6.3-inch footprint at 204g while carrying a periscope telephoto built on a 1/1.95-inch sensor, up from the 1/2.55-inch unit in the previous Pro.
The 6.3-inch LTPO OLED runs at 1280 x 2856 and 120Hz, and is rated at 2400 nits in high brightness mode against 2200 nits on the Pixel 10 Pro. The 3600 nits peak figure applies to HDR content rather than general outdoor use.
Resolution is unchanged from the previous generation, so the gain here is brightness rather than sharpness. Buyers who want a larger panel need the Pixel 11 Pro XL, which uses the same camera system on a 6.8-inch screen.
The 50MP main camera sits on a 1/1.3-inch sensor, and the 48MP periscope telephoto moves to a considerably larger 1/1.95-inch sensor at 106mm. The spec table lists 8K capture at 24 and 30fps directly, where the Pixel 10 Pro's 8K was produced through cloud-based upscaling.
Optical zoom stays at 5x despite the shorter focal length, so the improvement is in light gathering rather than reach. The 48MP ultrawide moves only from 1/2.55-inch to 1/2.51-inch, which is unlikely to be a visible change.
Wireless charging is the headline change, rising to 25W over Qi2.2 magnetic from 15W Qi2 on the Pixel 10 Pro, with reverse wired and bypass charging also supported.
The 4850 mAh cell is marginally smaller than the previous 4870 mAh, and wired charging is unchanged at 30W with a rated 55% in 30 minutes. Anyone upgrading specifically for faster wired top-ups will not find a reason here.
At 152.7 x 71.9 x 8.4 mm and 204g, the Pixel 11 Pro is 3g lighter and 0.1mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back, an aluminium frame and IP68 rating.
It is still 7g heavier than the standard Pixel 11 on an almost identical footprint, so the Pro tier carries a weight penalty for buyers who prioritise a light 6.3-inch phone.
The Tensor G6 moves to a 2nm process with a 7-core layout led by a 4.1GHz ARM C1-Ultra, and every storage tier uses UFS 4.x where the Pixel 10 Pro's 128GB option was held back by UFS 3.1. Wi-Fi 7, UWB and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader are all included, and the seven-generation update window is active from launch on Android 17.
The trade-off is at the base tier: 256GB now ships with 12GB of RAM, where the Pixel 10 Pro used 16GB across every configuration. Buyers who want 16GB have to move to the 512GB model, and there is no card slot to fall back on.
The Pixel 11 Pro suits the buyer who wants periscope zoom and 8K video but refuses to carry a 6.8-inch phone, and who is content with 12GB of RAM at the entry storage tier. Buyers on older Pixel Pro models gain most from the brighter panel and the jump to 25W wireless charging.
