The 6.8-inch LTPO OLED runs at 1344 x 2992 and 120Hz, rated at 2400 nits in high brightness mode against 2200 nits on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. The 3600 nits peak rating applies to HDR content only.
Pixel density sits at 482ppi, slightly below the 497ppi of the smaller Pixel 11 Pro, because the resolution rises by less than the screen area does. Buyers choosing between the two are picking size over sharpness.
The 50MP main camera sits on a 1/1.3-inch sensor, and the 48MP periscope telephoto moves to a 1/1.95-inch sensor at 106mm, up from 1/2.55-inch on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. The spec table lists 8K capture at 24 and 30fps directly, where the previous generation produced 8K through cloud-based upscaling.

The base 256GB tier now ships with 12GB of RAM, where the Pixel 10 Pro XL used 16GB across every configuration. Reaching 16GB means moving to the 512GB model, and there is no card slot.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL suits the buyer who wants the largest screen Google sells in a conventional phone and is comfortable at 226g, particularly anyone who values a fast top-up over outright battery capacity. Buyers on older Pixel Pro XL models gain most from the brighter panel and the larger telephoto sensor.
